Maybe your eye wrinkles are just beginning to appear, or maybe you just don’t want to spend a fortune on eye wrinkle treatments. If that sounds familiar, there are some natural remedies you can try to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
These are a few ideas and suggestions that I’ve found on my own. Since everyone’s skin is different and reacts to things differently, you will have to try them for yourself to see if they work for you.
Of course everyone has heard of putting cucumber slices on the eyes to reduce puffiness, redness, and wrinkles, but here is a new one to try. Place small metal spoons in the freezer overnight. In the morning before applying make up, place the cold spoons on your eyes for five minutes. I haven’t tried this one, but it does sound interesting!
Try rubbing castor oil gently into the area around the eye. Massage it in well and don’t let it get into your eyes. Do this once a day.
Okay, here’s one that’s a little weird, but it is supposedly the eye wrinkle treatment used by the ever young Susan Lucci. Take two whole sardines form the can and lie down with one on each eye. Do this for about 10 minutes. You are supposed to see results the same day!
Rosewater soaked pads applied to the eyes will revitalize the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Many believe that the proteins in milk products are very similar to the proteins in our skin. A milk soaked cotton pad applied to the eyes may therefore rebuild skin cells and plump up the skin around the eyes for a less wrinkled look.
Tea bags applied to the eye lids have been a remedy for eye wrinkles for a long time.
You’ll have to give these a try and let me know how they work out for you.
