We all know how wonderful Vitamin C is for preventing colds and boosting the immune system. But when it is formulated into a product called Cellex C, it can also be used to treat eye and other wrinkles.
Vitamin C is known to help promote collagen production and we know that collagen is that element that plumps up our skin thus reducing the appearance of wrinkles. This oil free formula also contains Zinc which works hand in hand with the Vitamin C to help the body adjust to the new production of collagen, and also helps the body to slough off old stiffened collagen cells.
Using Cellex C around the eyes improves elasticity and reduces sagging skin over and under the eyes. It also reduces the appearance of crow’s feet or laugh lines.
It is an oil free serum so it applies easily, penetrates readily and is non greasy. A really nice thing about this serum is that it is safe to apply in the evening.
Most other types of eye creams have to be applied in the morning because it is dangerous to have cream on your eyes at night in case you rub the cream into the eyes while sleeping.
The Cellex C formula is deep penetrating and non greasy so this is not a concern. For most people, it would be more convenient to apply eye wrinkle treatments at night instead of in the morning when we might also be applying eye makeup.
There are also Cellex C creams available that are less intense than the serum, but because they are creams, they must be applied in the morning.
The Cellex C Contour Cream Plus is recommended for dry, sensitive and mature skin types. Lots of men try this cream too to keep eye wrinkles under control.
Cellex C is a bit more costly than some other products but it is used in tiny drops at a time so a bottle lasts a long time.
